In a solo performance, movements are articulated which are part of the societal stock of movements and gestures, and only become especially prominent at certain times, then attaining the value of signs or becoming metaphors. From this point of view, there is no solo, as every articulation is closely involved in its context.
no solo presents thoughts about antagonistic relations (in the sense of Ernesto Laclau / Chantal Mouffe) with the body; antagonism is seen as a productive relation of tensions between body parts, or body spaces. As the differences behaving antagonistically towards each other are part of a reference system, movement could be described as a continuous transformation of tension relations.
Given the premise that the constitution of closed-system totalities is impossible, one can speak of antagonistic tension relation.

Lectures and discussion

Taking part in this conference choreographer and performer Sabine Sonnenschein (A) points out the specific angle of a series of laboratories, called Lab for Performance and Post-Dramatic Acting; she initiated this series, which has taken place so far at Im_flieger / WUK in Vienna.
Lab for Performance and Post-Dramatic Acting is a co-operative encounter of female and male performers, sound designers, art and culture theoreticians, philosophers and theatre scientists, making it possible to receive impulses from each other and to put new approaches to the test.
A direct connection of art practice and theory production is intended.
Exchange and research are the main aspects. No production is developed, but sketches and processes are made public at certain times, in which the visitors may participate in various forms for free or a "pay as you wish" fee.
